About Us

Launched in 2021, QM2 Boat Tours (Queen Mary 2) began with a desire to provide high-quality private boat experiences to tourists, businesses, and leisure travellers in Costa Rica. QM2 Boat Tours is a fully licensed private boat charter company with our headquarters located in Flamingo, Costa Rica. We offer a unique experience onboard our sleek ocean-friendly vessel making us one of the most desirable private eco-tour companies in Costa Rica.

We take customer experiences personally and work tirelessly to ensure every trip is not only successful but enjoyable till the very end. Our boat is a 23ft made by Sportcraft, centre console powered by 150 HP Mercury Verado engine. There’s plenty of room with capacity for up to 5 guests to relax and enjoy the stunning local coastline. Onboard we have everything you need from snorkelling equipment, a GPS fish finder, Penn International reels and rods, WiFi, bluetooth and a private restroom.  We have proudly adopted the highest standards of ocean and eco-marine care within our everyday working practices.  We are continuously involved in tourism and boat training programs, completing comprehensive industry-specific courses which cover all aspects of ocean life and leisure. 

As part of a flourishing coastal community dedicated to creating best-in-class marine guidelines and eco standards, our goal is to become a leader in marine expeditions, conducting ocean life studies for freelance scientists and university students.  QM2 provides the opportunity to enjoy the best of Costa Rica’s abundant sea life in a healthy ocean atmosphere.
